The Clio Conference 2020 is approaching! This year’s topic will be Generation Z: Entering the Global Stage, which puts emphasis on our role and impact in world affairs.

“They say we are lazy. They say we are tech-addicts”. We hear these and similar comments every day. However, as global citizens, the members of the new generation obtain an ever more crucial role in addressing and shaping topics of socio-political importance.

The Conference Committee has invited a variety of speakers from diverse fields. They will give unique and relevant perspectives on topics such as activism, technological challenges, counter-extremism and news consumption, which are deeply liked to GenZ and its future on the global stage. Never has the theme of the conference been so relevant to the audience! The speakers will be announced shortly in the coming weeks, so make sure to keep an eye on the posts around the event.

The day will offer an exciting mix of lectures, workshops and a final debate problematising the topic. Are you keen on getting an input that goes beyond the usual textbook study? We are happy to announce the most interactive conference so far. The Clio Conference is the perfect event to trigger thoughts that go beyond the studies of International Relations. Come and join for a fun day, full of diverse inputs and some insightful views on the future of our generation!

We would also like to invite you to fill in this survey: https://docs.google.com/…/1FAIpQLSd9cmHFyocxwuOt4t…/viewform. With the results we would like to draw some conclusions about GenZ in general and in relation to the topics that our conference will cover. The evaluation will be available on the website of the conference. The more responses we get, the better. So feel free to share the link with your friends.
