Founded in 1803, Universidad de Antioquia is Colombia’s oldest public university and the second largest one in the country. In Colombia there are two ways for foreign students to entry into the country:
- Entry and Permanence Permit (Permiso de Ingreso y Permanencia - PIP) ◆ PIP-2: temporary permit initially valid for 90 days and renewable for a single time for another 90 days, for a total of 180 days. ◆ PIP-5: temporary permit initially valid for 90 days and renewable for a single time for another 90 days, for a total of 180 days. This permit only applies to students from the Schengen Area.
- V-type Visa: corresponds to the visitor type visa, it will have the validity that the consulate of Colombia in your home country grants it. The student must make the application through: http://www.cancilleria.gov.co/tramites_serv icios/visa
