This year, Clio brings to you the new Clio Book Club!

Each block, a RUG IRIO profesor will select a book related to IR, and then will join us for a discussion. This is a great opportunity to not only read amazing books recommended by our teachers, but to sit down with them for an informal but fun discussion and get to know them a little bit more.

The book for this block is "Love is a Dangerous Word" (Essex Hemphill, 2025). This book, featuring a selection of poems from the author Essex Hemphill, was personally selected by our professor Matteo Casiraghi!

The book discussion will take place on October 8th at 14:00, in the Attic. IMPORTANT: Non-Clio members can also join, since signing up for the Book Club is not necessary. Just join us!
