Corona might prevent us from physically going abroad, but not from organising a fun week revolving around a travel destination! Are you ready to enjoy everything Asia has to offer? The Travel Committee has got you covered! During the Travel Week the committee will organise both online and physical activities, such as an academic night, a party with games, a movie night and much more! 

The Travel week is from the 5th to the 9th of May. You do not need to sign up for the online activities, and the sign ups for the physical activities are open now! During the week you will receive a booklet with interesting articles, tasty recipes and hotspots you need to visit when you are in Asia. Week of the 5th - 9th of May:

Wednesday: 

• Publication of articles on the topic of Asia in collaboration with the Checks & Balances Committee.

Thursday: 

• During the academic night the Travel Committee is organizing a debate night! During this debate the topics will be shortly introduced and afterwards the debate statements are given.  Some topics are the Belt and Road iniative of China and the coup in Myanmar. Make sure you will be there!  | 20:00 on Zoom. Friday: 

• GeoGuesser | The theme for the week is Roadtripping through Asia and the purpose of roadtripping is to explore the world and all its beautiful places. GeoGuessr is the one game that brings the world to you. You will be dropped somewhere random in the world by some kind of google street view platform. Then the task is to base on your surroundings where you are in the world, and then indicate the location on the world map. The closer you are to the real location, the more points you get. You have the most points? You will receive an amazing prize! | 20:00 on Zoom. You can find the link here. 
• Afterwards, you can join for the Full Moon Party. People from all over the world come to Thailand to party all night during the Full Moon Party. And that is why we as the Travel Committee decided to bring the party to you. The Full Moon Party will be online this evening, but there will be lots of online drinking games and music. So enjoy and party until you can’t party anymore!

Saturday: 

• Scavenger Hunt (there are separate sign-ups on the website since this is a physical event)
• Movie Night with "Steel Rain"  20:00 on Teleparty (unfortunately, you do need a Netflix account to participate. In case you don't have one, feel free to contact us at clio.reis@gmail.com and we will find a solution!). You can find the link here 

Sunday: 

• Sports Day (there are separate sign-ups on the website since this is a physical event!)
