IRSP research positions are primarily open to third-year bachelor students or pre/master students at the IRIO programme at the University of Groningen. Are you a second-year student with the motivation and skills to join the team? You can also apply, but bear in mind that preference will be given to candidates who meet the third-year and masters qualifications. Candidates apply through a competitive process involving a written application and interview.

Selection is based on academic performance, motivation, research skills, and professionalism. Thanks to IRIO’s interdisciplinary background in politics, economics, law, and history, our researchers bring both academic insight and practical relevance to their respective contributions in our projects.

The first IRSP Information Drinks Event takes place in November of every year, an informatory session showcasing the current year’s partners and research projects! Interested candidates are invited to come along to ask questions and find out more about our projects, stay tuned to our instagram for details and information about signups. At a second IRSP drinks event held at the end of the academic year, the students who have conducted the research projects are invited to proudly present their research outcomes to fellow students, staff, and partners.
