Next year, Clio exists 30 years, which means that it is time for a lustrum week to celebrate Clio’s birthday! The lustrum will take place in June 2018 and the lustrum committee is in charge of organizing this week. The Lustrum week will be full of activities for all Clio members, these activities can be all kind of things, from parties to lectures, and it is up to you and your committee to organize all these activities.
This committee has a chair(wo)man and a vice-chair(wo)man to improve the quality of the committee, these two will already kick-start the committee in the summer. So, when the rest of the committee is chosen in the coming year, they can start right away with organizing the lustrum week!
The chair(wo)man and vice-chair(wo)man are writing the lustrum policy together. The chair(wo)man is the person that chairs the meetings and writes the agenda. He or she will also be the one in close contact with the board and is the one who will set up the tasks for the committee. The vice-chair(wo)man is the person in charge of the larger activities and will make sure that the functionaries are on top of their game. He or she will have a more hands-on approach in the committee and will be the one in charge of the day organization during the Lustrum week itself.
The chairman and vice-chairman position gives you the unique opportunity to improve your leadership skills, to deal with challenges, to expand your network and it brings you an amazing team of new friends.
If you want to apply for Lustrum chair(wo)man or vice-chair(wo)man, please send your CV and a motivation letter to info@clio.nl before midnight on the 4th of June.
If you have any questions about the committee or the application procedure, feel free to send an email to info@clio.nl.
