We proudly present the theme of the Clio Conference 2013: The BRICs and the West: Changes, Challenges, Opportunities. The extensiveness of the theme, as well as the diverse subjects which will be touched upon, makes this a very interesting topic for internationalists and, therefore, for the Clio Conference 2013. The Conference will focus on the development of the BRIC countries in relation to the western world. The issues accompanying the rise of these countries will be handled in light of the current dynamic political and economic systems.

Various speakers will discuss this topic during this event. Among these speakers are: Drs. Simon Smits, Pr. Dr. Kees van der Pijl, Drs. Michèle de Waard and Mr. Eric Niehe.
