The Forum Committee proudly presents you this year’s first Lecture Series with focus on the Arab Spring. These lectures will provide us with the opportunity to look behind the scenes of the flood of the often unreliable and biased information concerning the country. The first Lecture on Thursday March 7th, 20.00 in the Senaatszaal of the Academy Building will mainly concentrate on Libya. At this juncture Dr. Christopher K. Lamont, Assistant Professor with specialization on Globalization
Studies and Herman Quarles, Deputy Director of Middle Eastern Relations at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs will introduce us to the current situation in Libya. Entrance is free!
