On Friday 21 January there is a national protest in The Hague against the plans of the government for the Higher Education. In support of the demonstration, all Dutch universities have declared Friday 21 January a lecture-free day; examinations, however, will still take place.
The Board of the University of Groningen will be laying on buses to transport students to The Hague and back. Please register via www.groningen.metdebusnaardenhaag.nl. Students with an OV travel pass that is valid on Fridays are asked to travel there by train.
The demonstration on the Malieveld in The Hague will start at 1 p.m.
