So you decided to study IRIO, that’s great! But what can you actually do with it? Where will you work once you have finished your studies? Our programme is often praised to be the ticket to endless options on the labour market. The problem is: Where to start? On the 11th of December, you can find out! Join us on our first company visit this year where we will stop scratching the surface and dig deeper into one of those countless opportunities: We will be going to visit the headquarters of the Eneco Group in Rotterdam!!

Eneco is one of the biggest energy suppliers in the Netherlands and operates in five European countries. With its 7000 employees and about 2.000.000 customers, it forms a major part of the everyday life of many people. To meet the challenges of globalisation, they are increasingly investing in sustainable energy projects. Amongst other things, such as a breakfast, we will attend a workshop on self-branding and will discuss the growing importance of renewable energies and the change of societal behaviour. 

We are also happy to announce our second stop on the Career Trip: next to Eneco, we are going to visit the port of Rotterdam! 
The port of Rotterdam is the largest port in Europe, among the 10 largest ports in the world, and currently employs almost 100.000 people. Thus, it is no wonder that it plays a key role in international trade as well as for many national economies.
