This year, the Conference Committee invites you on the 6th of May to attend the Clio Conference on international criminality: ‘Breaking Boundaries: Crimes Transcending Borders.’

Join us for a day filled with fascinating speakers from all over the world covering a variety of topics in connection to international crime, discussed from a wide range of different perspectives and backgrounds. The day will start at 10:00 h, followed by several sessions, a lunch and drinks to end the day! The location of the Conference is the Doopsgezinde Kerk and Het Van Swinderen Huys here in the heart of Groningen. After signing up for the Conference, you will receive more information to indicate your preferences for the workshops in due time.

This year, the committee has decided to collaborate with Het Overweeghuis, a local initiative based on volunteers that temporarily takes in women who are unable to find a way out of, or get stuck in, prostitution. You will have the option to buy a separate donation ticket, through which you participate in a lottery with some small prices. For every 1 euro ticket you buy on top of the ticket price, you participate once in the lottery. All additional revenue from this will go to Het Overweeghuis, so we hope you are willing to spare the price of a (few) beer(s) to support this great cause with us!

Interested in speakers? Follow us on Instagram at @studyassociationclio or Facebook/LinkedIn at Study Association Clio to find out who will be joining us!

Non-members are welcome as well. The ticket price for them is 8 €. Please fill in this google form if you would like to participate (non-members only)!

The participation fee has been lowered to 7 €!
