This year’s hitchhike is going to Trier, Germany! This city is probably the oldest city in Germany and is located near Luxembourg. Don’t miss out on this amazing chance to try another way of traveling with your friends and spent a weekend in another country!

Friday is the big day of the contest: Put all your hitchhiking skills into practice and see which pair reaches Trier the fastest!

On Saturday there will be free time where you can go sightseeing, shopping, taste some German beers or wines, or just do whatever you like in this old town, after a night of partying we will travel back to Groningen on Sunday, by train.

Some important information: the contest is done in teams of 2 persons, you can sign up as a pair with boy-boy combination, or girl-boy, for security reasons the girl-girl combination is not allowed. You can also sign-up individually and we will pair you up with another participant.

The Hitchhiking contest and the weekend spend in Trier will be from the 29th of September till the 1st of October has a participation fee of 45 euros.
